The PETbc, in consultation with Britain's top full-
time practitioners of dog behaviour and training have set out the definitions
for roles in all the relevant disciplines in canine behaviour, training and
puppy development. A total of over 200 years' combined practical experience has
led to the production of this definitive work.

Sadie Alty
All the photography and web design is the work of my
friend and colleague Sadie Alty. I met Sadie over two years ago when she
approached me to shoot portraits of my dogs, as the subjects of her finals in
her photography degree. I knew she was going to be something special when she
returned time and time again, not content with her work, constantly striving to
better it. In so doing of course, she got to know my canine family intimately,
so that these days when she appears with a camera they all pose and look for a
treat.
The results of all her hard work were so much more than a degree. The
portraits of my dogs were so stunning, that she was invited to exhibit them in
the London exhibition 'Wake'. Not only does Sadie produce beautiful work, but
somehow she also captures the spirit of each dog. Her work can be viewed on her
